Review:

This novel was very nearly a ten for me, but it just didn’t make it up there. I know some of you who are reading this are going to hate me for what I’m going to say but anyway, I love Stephenie Meyer’s work. Her writing style phenomenal and this book is no exception.

Like I said before this book was very nearly a ten and the reason that it didn’t make it was because of the first 100 or so pages before Wanda finds the cave. It just seemed to drag on a bit for me, but once it got past that part I think that it was one of Stephenie’s best work.

The characters stuck with me throughout the entire book they were just all so fleshed out, I loved how the characters grew and also how they surprised me in many ways. I’m not going to go through what I thought of all the characters that had an impact on me because we would be here all day and that just shows how much of an impact this book had on me. But these are just some stayed with me: Wanda and Melanie they were just so different and for me that made their story even better, they were almost complete opposites. Jared and Ian: I just couldn’t decide who I loved more, they both had my heart.

The love triangle was intense, it kept me glued to the page and I was more than happy with the result. This novel make me smile, laugh, cry, be happy, be sad and so many other emotions, it was just so phenomenal.

My answer:

1) Most of the books on my bookselve are in my to be read pile.

2) Every time I finish a book I start reading one and then put it back and I do that about five times untill I find the book that I want to read next.

3) I use almost ANYTHING as a bookmark, I don't actually think that I have anything marking my books that can be called a bookmark. I even have a hairdressing leaflet from when I went to Egypt two years ago with my mother as a bookmark!

4) I hate it when people bend the pages in a book to mark them! I mentally cringe at the site!

5) I have this starnge habbit of reading the last couple of lines at the end of the book when i've just start reading it, but not enough to ruin the ending.

Review:

I don’t normally read science-fiction to be honest, but what drew me to this book (except for the beautiful cover) was love, secrets and murder. That and the summary just drew me in. I had no idea what to expect when I picked up this book but when I finished it it was better than I could ever have imagined it to be.

That first chapter where Amy was being frozen stuck we me the most through the book. It was so detailed that I could almost see it happening and for me that was just an epic first chapter. Plus if it was really I would never want to be frozen like that!

As the book unfolded and the secrets started to get revealed and I just couldn’t put it down and I’m not going to go into detail but that was also an epic ending!
I actually felt like I was in the ship myself by how much detail Beth put in the book about the ship, but the map did come in handy.

I loved the characters they were well rounded and I felt like I knew them. Amy and Elder were both easy to relate to, fleshed out characters and you could feel their struggles with being on the ship. I loved watching them grow as the book went on. I also loved how the story was also told from both Elder and Amy’s perspective.

I tried to read more than one book at the time but I think it easier to just read one to be honest because of two reaseons 1) I can just focus on the one story 2) when I'm reading more than one book I think it's taking away time that I could be reading the other book and then it takes longer to read the noth books.

My answer:
I can't actually remeber how the entire blog name came to be. But I can remeber that I wanted the word Book in it (very original right?) and then I just came across the words Geek and Central and for me they all came perfectly together. And that is how my blog name became 'Book Geek Central'. Kind of random really.

Review:

From the first chapter of this novel I was hooked. This is the first novel by Jackson that I have read and I loved every second of it. It’s was just so funny and just genius there aren’t enough words that I can think of to describe how much I loved this book.

I loved Viola she was so easy to relate to and if she was in my school I would have wanted her to be my best friend, I could just see myself in her and I think that there was one thing or another in her personality that everyone can relate to.

Don’t think that I forgot about Ginn I loved him and he was so cute and protective when he figured out that his feeling for Viola and that just made me love him even more. All the characters were well rounded and it was as if they were jumping off the page.

It was beautifully written and this novel for me was just wow.

Hey guys! I'm so sorry that i've only added two(2) posts this week but I have a good reason why it happened. I had three science exams on Friday and all week I 'thought' that the internet servise was down and my mother even told me that her bosses was too. But what my mother had really down was she removed one wire out from the back of the internet box thingy which connected to the main computer, so it was showing that there was no internet, but it wasn't showing that there was any internet either. She did all that so I would revise. So i'm sorry again guys and there is also no 'In My Mailbox' post from me this week becuase I only got one book and I am going to use that one is my video post next week.
