In Love with Covers (#17)

In Love with Covers is a feature here on Book Geek Central and will take place every Thursday. The first thing that I look at when looking for books is the cover. The cover is the primary reason that I pick up a book. This feature highlights gorgeous covers of books I've seen either around the blogosphere or at the bookshop.

I love this cover! I love her hair... and to be honest I love th entire thing! <3

Goodreads summary:

This thrilling sequel to the much-talked-about Nightshade begins just where it ended.Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemy, and she's certain her days are numbered.

But then the Searchers make her an offer, one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack and the man she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive.

  1. It's interesting because there was such an uproar when this cover was first revealed. There was even a petition to bring back the original one. I kind of like it though - but I also liked the other one and how it's matches Nightshade.

  2. I still have to read Nightshade... But this is freaking gorgeous!

  3. I like this cover. The girl exudes a sort of sexy strength. But...I do think I prefer the old cover a little more.

  4. I still wish that they'd keep the old Wolfsbane cover instead of the new one--mainly because personally, I'm more likely to be drawn to a bright cover than a dark one--or perhaps had a set for the paperbacks and another for the hardcovers. I do like the new cover, but not nearly as much as the old cover.
